Covert Special Ops Code Black 3G Review

Covert Special Ops Code Black 3G Review was first published on The Binoculars Guy

CovertLGCovert Special Ops Code Black 3G cellular trail camera is perfectly suited for those who want to immediately receive copies of the photos even while they are away from their homes or their cameras. This trail camera is able to send photos to your smartphones through texts or emails to you. Now, you no longer have to pull out the SD card to be able to see the pictures. This camera is very ideal to use for security and surveillance purposes since you are still able to know what is going on in your premises even if you are not around. It is very reliable as it sends out photos every 60 seconds, keeping you updated despite your absence. The Covert Special Ops Code Black cellular trail camera is very light, making it easier to transport from one location to another. The storage will not be a problem too as it has a 32GB SD card that allows you to store hundreds of photos.

This excellent trail camera works with a GSM sim card, like AT&T and T-Mobile. However, it is not compatible with Sprint, Verizon or any other non-GSM carrier. It also needs to be properly set-up in order to have a successful cellular transmission of the photos. The battery life of this camera is also good enough that you can take 3000 photos on each set of batteries. It has a flash range of 60 ft. along with a 60 invisible flash LED. This makes it an excellent tool to take stealth photos of wildlife. Product Details:
  • 12 MP resolution
  • Up to 32 GB memory capacity
  • Threaded tripod insert
  • Flash range 60ft
  • Adjustable sensitivity
  • Wireless transfer of 640x 480 size photos to phone via texts or emails
  • 60 invisible flash LED’s
  • Date, time, temperature and moon phase imprint
  • MO infinity break up camo
  • Still photos
  • Beautiful color photos during the day (without canopy cover)
  • 2 phase timer switch
  • Three adjustable sensitivity levels
  • 3000 photos on each set of batteries
  • 2 inch color viewer
  • Operates on 12AA batteries
  • Weighs 1.2 pounds
There are, however, a few setbacks with this camera. Daytime photos may come out dark and blurry due to shadows especially if the camera is place under a canopy. It may also have some poor reception at times, making it difficult to send out the photos. There are also times when the camera hangs and stops taking pictures. Some users have also mentioned that the external antenna doesn't always boost the camera's reception as much as they would like. Despite these, the Code Black 3G is one of the best game camera options, and is still a better model than many others as it has a wide variety of features and it is functional for surveillance and security. All in all, it is one of the best cellular cameras available in the market.

Are you looking for a good camera but have some budget constraints? The Primos Truth Cam 35 might just be the trail camera for you. Don't expect the best performance at this price though. This camera has the basic functions to get the job done, but lacks special features that are present in those high-end trail cameras. Fair enough, as you get what you pay for. Night photos tend to blur out, but still good enough to know what was captured. This camera is best used in an open field or area.

Reconyx HyperFire HC600 Review

Reconyx HyperFire HC600 Review Find more on: Owen's The Binoculars Guy

ReconyxHyperFireHC600-largeReconyx is a leading brand in the world of trail cameras. Its camera models are natural sensations, working wonders for trail enthusiasts. Reconyx HyperFire HC600 is among them. This camera is of high quality making it superior among its rivals. The HyperFire HC600 produces excellent day photos as well as good night pictures even with a No Glow IR. The blurriness of the night shots, which is common among No Glow cameras, is minimal. I will mention though that the Reconyx HC500 does take better shots in the night. Because of its No Glow feature, this camera can be used as a security as well since it is unnoticeable. The Moultrie M880 is a good Low Glow option.

However, one setback of this camera that might make you reconsider is its price. It is a bit expensive compared to the average cameras, but for good reason. The HyperFire HC600 is built to last. With its extensive shell and cover, you can be sure that it will still be alive and kicking even after 10 years. 100_6620Like many other cameras, it is hard to estimate the battery life as there are several other factors that affect the battery usage. But overall, the battery of HyperFire HC600 lasts pretty well. It is manufactured in the USA. The HyperFire HC600 is like a diamond which everybody could not afford to have. For a high quality camera at a more affordable price point, check out my Moultrie M1100i review here. But with its superior internal and external quality, you just need to give yourself a chance to try it. You just might find yourself making a budget for it. Here are the specifications for HyperFire HC600 :

  • Runs on 12 AA batteries
  • No Glow High Output Covert Infrared Night Vision up to 60 feet
  • Temp Range of -20° to 120° F

LTL Acorn 5210MG Review

The following article LTL Acorn 5210MG Review is available on http://ift.tt/1JSH3na

Are you looking for a camera that allows you to send backup copies of your photos to your mobile phones or email accounts? The LTL Acorn 5210MG is probably a good choice for you.  This camera enables photos to be sent directly to phones and emails. It works with any GSM network and even has a SMS remote option.  This is an awesome feature that allows you to change options through text messages. LTLacorn5210MGreview-large One very useful feature of the LTL Acorn 5210MG is its no glow IR flash. This makes the camera virtually undetectable. This can be used for security reasons, especially if you are staying far from a populated community or if you are in an isolated area. You can also see the photos minutes after it was captured. Night images are of good quality too, which is an added point to this camera. This makes you able to set-up the camera to catch evidence of burglars in your house. However, there are also other options you may consider with more or less the same specifications.  There is the Moultrie 990i, which also has a no glow flash, as well as the Reconyx HC600. You may opt for them instead if you do not mind having to see the photos later. With the LTL Acorn 5210MG, you will also have to buy a sim card and have it activated. This camera will also be shipped from China which might take longer for it to arrive to you. Another downside of this camera is that you will need to have a good reception in order to send the photos. It also must be initially set up with a computer and sadly, it only works with Windows. You can checked out the specifications of the LTL Acorn 5210MG below:

  • Programmable 5 or 12-Megapixel high-quality resolution
  • Infrared night vision LEDs for flash range as far as 65 feet
  • In “Cam + Video” mode, camera takes both pictures and video at every trigger event
  • Ultra low standby power consumption. Extremely long in-field life (in standby mode, up to 6 months with 8 x AA batteries)
  • Impressively quick trigger time (0.8 second)
  • Time Lapse Mode
  • MMS image sizes: 640 x 480
  • Automatically send text alert when battery power level goes low
  • Check cellular signal information on the built-in TFT display in the field
  • All MMS pictures saved in SD card as well as the original ones
  • Internal antenna design makes the camera portable while still emitting strong signal
  • Operates globally via GSM/GPRS network. Supports four bands: 850 / 900 / 1800 /1900MHz
  • Date, time, battery level stamped in the MMS pictures
  • Lockable and password protected
All in all, it is a pretty decent camera if you want to take good quality photos and need to immediately send them to someone or to your own account. It works well for security purposes.

Cuddeback Long Range IR Model E2 Camera Review

Cuddeback Long Range IR Model E2 Camera Review Read more on: http://ift.tt/1JSH2zR

Cuddeback is well known for their quality products, and with the E2 they introduce yet another high-quality camera for trail adventurers and enthusiasts. The Cuddeback Long Range IR Model E2 camera is a highly efficient device to help you capture movement and speed. It comes with an option for a wide angle view for monitoring fields and a centered view for trails. Recently I have been on a hunt for the top trail cameras available on the market. Let's find out how the E2 compare. CuddebackLongRangeIRModelE2largeThis camera is among the fastest trail cameras available on the market today.  It boasts of a fast trigger feature that can take two pictures before many other models can only take one. The speed on the trigger of the Cuddeback is only a quarter of a second. This will enable you shoot more photos of your subjects with less errors. The recovery is as quick as well, allowing you to quickly capture follow up shots. One struggle with this trail camera is that it can be a little difficult to set up. The pictures may come up hazy or foggy especially when taken under not so good environment conditions. Although there are some complaints, they usually are because of user errors. If you prefer ease of use in your devices, I would suggest the Moultrie A8. However, these are just minor setbacks. With its affordability and speed, this surely is an excellent option for you to choose. If you are looking for a good quality camera at a reasonable price, then this camera is perfect for you.

Here are the products details of the Cuddeback Long Range IR Model E2 camera:
  • 20MP resolution for crystal-clear images
  • 1/4-second trigger speed
  • Compact micro housing
  • Wide view image capability
  • Takes up to 30-second videos with sound
  • Burst mode (1-5 images per detection)
  • Time-lapse mode
  • Day / night time operation
  • Wide view or centered view with zone control (excellent for the monitoring of food plots)
This Cuddeback device is a great choice for monitoring larger properties, where you might require more than one device at a cost-effective price. I feel like I have to mention my Simmons Whitetail Trail Camera Review here, as it is another device that offers good value at a affordable price.

Spypoint 6MP Invisible Infrared Camera Review

The following post Spypoint 6MP Invisible Infrared Camera Review is available on Owen

Good news for outdoor trail photo enthusiasts! The Spypoint 6mp Invisible Infrared Game Camera is now available to help you scout game without spooking the participants. It has awesome features like invisible black LEDs and five zone sensor that makes it a really popular model. The sensor allows it to capture good quality centered images at a fast trigger speed. The Spypoint Camera is also very easy to program which makes the user able to get extensive use out of it. It has a wide detection zone and excellent infrared range which allows for taking photos even at a distance. Daylight photography is superb, providing beautiful quality and clear colored photos.

[easyazon_link asin="B00AU6DPLU" locale="US" new_window="default" nofollow="default" tag="binocularsguy-20" add_to_cart="default" cloaking="default" localization="default" popups="default"]>> Click here for technical specs <<[/easyazon_link]

Aside from these, the camera has 32GB storage that enables the user to store hundreds of photos without having to keep on transferring it to another place. It also has a battery of life of three to four weeks, allowing the enjoyment of using the camera lasts longer. A downside of this camera is that it is difficult to capture a good quality photo at night (for great night photos, I recommend the Moultri 990). Moving objects may be a struggle to catch and may come out blurry. Macro objects tend to white out also when shot up close. But aside from these few cons, the Spypoint Camera is one of the best there is on the market today. Other models are certainly struggling to keep up with it.Spypoint6MP-large Here are some specifications of the Spypoint Camera:
  • Set of 46 LED’s
  • 6 mega pixel resolution camera
  • Compatible with solar panels
  • Adjustable distance detection sensor from 5 to 65 feet
  • 5-zone detection motion sensor
  • Up to 32 GB expendable memory
  • Uses a set of 6 C cell batteries
  • Python lock security
  • 12 volt external power jack
  • USB and TV port
Looking at the Spypoint 6mp Invisible Infrared Game Camera, I consider it to be a great game camera. The shutter speed is a little slow for night photos, but the ease of use and battery life are big advantages. Overall, a really solid option.
