Spy Point Live 3G Review

The article Spy Point Live 3G Review was first published on http://ift.tt/1JSH3na

The Spy Point Live 3G is a trail camera that you can remotely access through the Internet. You no longer have to go and fetch your camera before being able to access your pictures. When you are connected to the Internet, you can already retrieve photos from the camera as well as adjust the settings no matter where you are.  With just a few clicks and taps from your smartphone, tablet or laptop, every information and file you need from your camera is already there within your fingertips. Aside from this, you can also receive alerts whenever there is a new photo taken as well as when the battery is low or when the camera is moved from its place. The Spy Point Live 3G has a 5 MP resolution that takes high quality daytime photos. Night time photos are pretty decent which is normal for an average trail camera. It also has an excellent night time visibility because of its 48 LEDs.

This camera allows you to take up to 90 seconds of video. It also has other options like time lapse mode and multi-shot camera. However, it is not able to shoot both photo and video simultaneously so you have to choose which one you will take. This camera is very functional especially for security and surveillance purposes. Because you are able to access it anytime and anywhere, you are updated on what is going in your premises even without being physically present in your area. It is very convenient and practical on your part. However, this camera may be a bit expensive for its kind. There are other better options in the market that have the same or more features that costs less than the Spy Point Live 3G. Although this camera has some good options, this may not be worth the money that you spend on it. spypointLARGEProduct Details:
  • 5 mp resolution
  • control camera from anywhere you have Internet access
  • 3.5 inch viewing screen
  • will send alerts when new pictures are taken
  • 48 Infrared LED flash
  • Video option up to 90 seconds

Cons:
  • Have to choose between picture OR video
  • Battery life is very short, should consider solar panel option
  • Difficult initial set up
  • Casing feels flimsy for the money

It is my opinion that traditional game cameras are a better option for most. When comparing models in the same price range, I believe that you will better value for your money on other cameras.
